 , with wine (of course) and light bites will be held at the CCV Tastin
 g Room and Gallery on Friday, October 16th from 5 to 7 PM. Browse the 
 colorful new works on display while sipping new and current releases f
 rom Charles Creek, such as the Best of Class award winning 2007 Malbec
 . There is no charge to attend the event.\nMs. Hollister’s work is a
  fusion of styles: calligraphy, watercolor painting and the influence 
 on her life of living in the Hawaiian Islands. The acrylic paintings a
 re a new addition to her work. Volcanic eruptions and bamboo forests i
 nvite the viewer to visually and mentally enter the paintings and enjo
 y the secrets to be found. In the abstract work boldness, yet attentio
 n to detail, add intrigue to each one.\n\nHollister taught calligraphy
  in San Francisco and Oakland, California and Kealakakua and Honolulu,
  Hawai’i. She partnered with Terry Englehart in the Pengraphics Stud
 io of Calligraphy and Graphic Design in Oakland for six years. Her wor
 k has been shown in California, Hawai’i, and Germany. She now lives 
 in Sonoma with her feline assistant, Isabelle.\n\nFor more information
