SONOMA, California (June, 2011) –After multiple showings of his distinctive works at the Charles Creek Winery Tasting Room & Gallery in the past decade, Mike Holland has returned with a new exhibit, his first anywhere since suffering from a debilitating stroke in 2008. Painting now with his left hand, Mike’s post-2008 works, while clearly exhibiting his mastery of color, also display a unique sensibility that goes beyond the physical changes he has experienced since the stroke, seemingly emanating from a different emotional well-spring. Some pre-2008 paintings, not previously included in Mike’s many shows, will be on display, as well.
The show will run through July 31, 2011.
